Darn it, I accidentally deleted an excellent comment by Bea, and I can't seem to get it back. I was trying to edit my reply--too easy to delete something by accident! Bea said she sometimes leaves vegetables like carrots in front of a groundhog burrow, and she thinks the groundhog must appreciate them, because they quickly disappear. She wonders whether any readers of The Generous Garden have tried planting for groundhogs. Has anyone tried this? If so, what was your experience?
